Q:

2 new stove regulators oven still does not heat up

A:

The oven not heating can be an inconvenience and keep you from making some baked goods. I did some research and I was able to find two links that will provide you with some good information. I hope this helps while you wait for your expert response.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom and details we can assume the pressure regulator is not the problem. There is however a gas shut off lever on the gas pressure regulator that may be in the OFF position. Make sure the lever on the gas pressure regulator has not been placed in the OFF position. If the lever is in the OFF position, the gas supply to the oven will be turned off but the surface burners will continue to operate. (See image below.)

If the lever is in ON position, the oven is not likely operating because of a faulty electronic oven control or it may have a faulty oven safety valve or faulty glow bar oven igniter. The bake and broil burners has an electronic oven igniter that must glow red hot and it must pull enough current/amperage to open the oven safety valve and let gas flow to the burners. The igniter requires 120 volts in order to glow. If the igniters are glowing, the igniter is too weak to pull enough current to open the gas valve.

Check the things I have covered here and if I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
