Question and Answers

Q:

Estate washer water runs continuously in begining of rinse cycle.

A:

Thank You for contacting ManageMyLife.com

I understand your concern about the washer over flowing on the perm press cycle. A faulty timer motor would only prevent the timer from advancing. If can manually advance the timer to another cycle to see if will operate or not. A faulty contact in the timer could prevent the washer from operating. If you want to check voltage to the timer motor you test the voltage across the 2 black wires coming out of the timer motor at the plug in harness. If the timer is getting 120 volts & is not advancing, then you will need to replace the timer.  I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Q:

can't get parts?

A:

I know how important it is to have your appliances working properly. While you are waiting for your expert answer, I was able to do some research on this model. This model does not exist within our system, which is why you can't find it. However if you change the last number from a 1 to a 0 or a 3 then you will have a parts listing. You will find the diagrams available on www.searspartsdirect.com. I hope this helps you.

You can access a parts list diagram for that washer on the Sears PartsDirect website. Key in model TAWS700EQ0 as the model number for that washer. The last digit of the model number will not matter in terms of replacement parts.

I provided a tech sheet with the wiring diagram for this washer in the first image below. This should be the information that you need to diagnose and repair the washer. The second image shows how to open the console and remove the cabinet to access internal components on this type of washer.

Be sure that you unplug the washer before accessing internal components.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
