I recommend that you adjust the belt until the belt is tension is correct as shown on page 13 of your owner's manual. Here is a link for that manual in case you need it: ProForm T35 Treadmill Model 831.299202 Owner's Manual. The point at which you have proper tension on the belt is where you should begin when eliminating movement.

Once you have the tension adjusted properly, then you should be able to move the roller to eliminate belt movement as shown on that same page in the manual. I see that Joseph P. posted a link for a previous answer in the above response. That previous answer has a video that illustrates that procedure.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your treadmill making a loud noise. We are here to help. Yadira did provide you a good link on the incline problem. The incline may just need to be calibrated. The image below show how to calibrate the speed and incline. Otherwise, the incline raise bar may have popped out of position or it needs to be lubricated. The noise coming from the rear roller indicates the roller needs to be replaced. The part number for the rear roller is 141089. I provided a video to show how to replace the rear roller. Just click here to view that video. I hope this helps.

Exercise equipment can be an expensive investment. I understand wanting to keep it running. I recommend trying the steps from the previous expert here; Digital readout treadmill .

You may be able to find a console available from another similar treadmill being offered on the web. I can understand wanting the digital readout to work. You might consider wearing a pedometer while exercising as a work around. If it is time to check newer models, click here; Sears.com .

If you have further questions, reply back to the above link. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
