Question and Answers

Q:

OVEN TAKES A LONG TIME TO HEAT SVD48600P Jenn-air Gas/electric slide in range

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your oven. Upon researching model SVD48600P; based on the description provided, it sounds like you may need to replace the electronic control board. The control board governs the functions of your oven and it works with the bake element and oven thermostat to heat your oven up, so when the control board fails to send voltage to the element it can cause the oven not to turn on.

I trust this information will help you, have a great day.

Q:

I need the inner door glass of the oven that was broken by cleaning lady...part number is 71002801 SVD48600P Jenn-air Gas/electric slide in range

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
If a part is no longer available (NLA), it has been discontinued from production, so you will have difficulty finding one unless they are still being circulated online. I would run an internet search for part number 71002801. If you cannot locate it, you will more than likely need to replace the stove.
Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I'm only showing 3 control boards on this model range. The oven relay board, the downdraft relay board and the electronic oven control/clock assembly. The larger one of the three would likely be the electronic oven control/clock assembly and the smaller one would likely be double line break relay board for the oven elements. The larger of the two board at the back would likely be the downdraft relay board but I can't verify this.

The oven control board/clock and the relay board control the oven operation.

Part # 12001691 appears to come up as a relay board but I can't confirm which relay board it is. According to my parts list, the oven relay board is part #71002144 and it shows to be no longer available. The smaller relay board #12001694R appears to be for the downdraft relay board.  The electronic oven control/clock assembly is part #71002059 and my parts list also shows this to be no longer available.

There is a company that rebuilds boards called CoreCentricSolutions.

I recommend having the service technician that diagnosed the failure to come back out and complete the repair.

Thanks Joey. That helps a lot. I am sending my control panel out for repair. I hope it works. It's about a $2,000 savings if it does.
