Using alcohol is fine for cleaning the surfaces. I would not use oil on the gaskets though. You can use a very light coating of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) if you feel like it's necessary, but normally the rubber gaskets are not going to be dried out or anything when you receive them.

As far as which gaskets to replace: I would only replace the ones that you know have problems. If the kit has all the gaskets, you can go ahead and replace the others if you feel like doing it, but it's not something I would deem as "necessary".

Thank you for using Manage My Life!

Q:

Craftsman Snow thrower model #24788957 Flat Tire 24788957 Craftsman Snow thrower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
Outside of purchasing a new rim and tire assembly, you could install a tube in the tire. That would be the easiest and most cost effective solution. On the side of the tire, there will be the specs like 4.10-6-13. That would be the size of tube needed for the tire. From there you could check Sears.com or the like for a tube. There could be an issue with the rim and tire preventing the bead from sealing properly, like a bent edge of the rim or such.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

I don't see how they are compatible. When placed in the same base cabinet there is less than one inch of free space between them and the specs say there must be 4.5 inches.

A:

Those appliances can be installed in counters that meet the specifications shown in the image below. That page is shown in the installation guide for the oven. If the counters doe not meet those specifications, then those appliances may not be able to be installed in that situation. You may consider installing a slide-in range in that scenario.
