The evaporator fan motor gets 120 volts ac if the main thermostat and the defrost thermostat are closed.

Someone needs to check the voltage to the evaporator fan motor. If the fan motor is getting 120 volts and not running the fan motor is bad.

If the defrost thermostat, which is clamped to the evaporator coil, is open, the fan motor nor the defrost heater will work.

You could have a bad evaporator fan motor, a bad defrost thermostat, or a bad defrost heater.

If you are not comfortable making these voltage checks, you can go to http://services.sears.com/shs/category/repair?sid=MMLxexpertxmerch and get a Sears technician to repair the refrigerator.
