I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your washer. I did some research on this model and found that it does not have a clutch. This model only has a brake assembly for the tub. From what you are describing it sounds like the brake assembly is not disengaging completely, which is causing the belt to stop. I would suggest that you replace this first.
