Question and Answers

Q:

Why does my DVD player only play movies in blue, white, and yellow?

A:

From your description you get a good picture but the color is off, only showing blue yellow and white. The color combination is odd since yellow requires red and green and blue is the other primary color. I still think this could be a connection issue. Please use this link to open up the owners manual to page 6 and double check your connection type. If your TV has a component input, Red Blue and Green plugs for the video, make sure the colors are matched and connected on the component out of the DVD player. If your TV does not have component inputs then use a single video cable for audio out.

If connected properly. First verify that it’s just the Home theater system with the color problem in that jack. Try a game system or a cable box or another DVD player to make sure the same symptom is not on something else. If the TV seems good try another cable.
