Q:

New oven control possibilities for a Whirlpool RGE6700P

A:

Thank you for your question.  I can understand why you are needing to make these changes. We are not able to assist with non manufacturer approved parts or wiring. I did look for a wiring diagram for this model but was not able to locate information for this model. I am sorry we are unable to help with the parts.  Have you tried using the Sears measurement sheet to locate a range to fit?  It may help. Thank you for  using Manage My Life.

hanks for the reply. I had a feeling that you would notz assist a non manufacturer approved activity, but I had to ask any way. I was not aware of the Sears measurement sheet. I'll look into it. I doubt it will be helpful for it appears that the opening for say a 30 inch range has changed over the years. Our opening is only 28 1/2 ".Now it is 30". A while ago I did find a unit that would fit, but I can't remember why i didn't consider it. Again, thanks anyway.

Q:

craftsman door opener opens but wont close light blinks 10 times but manual only goes up to 7 blinks

A:

I suspect that the safety sensors are not aligned or are damaged. To check, with the door open press and hold the inside wall button. If the door goes down as long as you hold it then this is your problem. If not you will need a new logic board more than likely. If it is the sensors there is an led light on each sensor and both should be on. Look to see if the are "looking" at each other. If not adjust. If all looks good then look for damage to the sensor or the wire. If nothing then you will need a new set of sensors. You can get replacement parts at searspartsdirect.com. Thanks BB

I am having the same problem. One sensor light is green the other is yellow? I have adjusted and they worked a couple of times - now they are acting up again and not closing the door. What does the yellow light mean?
