Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Your oven uses a glow bar igniter that must glow red hot and it must pull enough current/amperage to cause the oven safety valve to open.

I must assume the glow bar igniter is not glowing at all or it glows but is too weak to cause the gas valve to open.

Open the broiler drawer or remove the floor of the oven and then turn the oven on and watch to see if the glow bar igniter will glow red. If it glows red then the igniter is likely too weak to pull enough current/amperage to open the gas valve. Replace the igniter. The igniter part number is #WB2X9154 which can be ordered from Sears PartsDirect

If the igniter is not glowing it's likely burnt out or broken. To determine if the igniter is broken will require checking the voltage supply to the igniter. If voltage is present to igniter, the igniter is broken and it will need to be replaced.

NOTE: I do not recommend checking voltage unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so, otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
