Q:

Dual zone elements RF367LXSB0 Whirlpool Electric range

A:

Hello, glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. We, at Sears, value your service.

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there are problems with the range.

Glad to help out.  I’m looking at your Whirlpool Range model number RF367LXSB0.

Sorry to hear about the burners going out.  Do you know if it is the burners or the switches?

On something like this you will need to use a volt/ohm meter in order to find the problem. If the surface unit switch has 240volts in across L1 to L2 & 0 volts out across H1 to H2 with the switch turned on then we know that the switch is bad. If you read 240volts out across H1 to H2 then the wiring between the switch & element will need checked.

Please "RESUBMIT ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS IF THERE IS ANY OTHER PROBLEMS".

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and I hope we can help you with your future questions and repairs.  Thank you for choosing Sears and using our SearsPartsDirect.com.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If both inner and outer coils are glowing red, then I would suspect the burner control switches are faulty for both front radiant burners. To remove the two switches, pull the control knob off and remove the two screws. Remove the panel from behind the control panel to access the burner switches. Disconnect one wire at a time from the old switch and transfer the wire to the same terminal on the new switch. Each male terminal is marked next to the terminal on the body of the switch. Make sure you connect the wires to the correct/matching terminals and reverse the procedure to re-mount the switches. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

The burner switches #9758060 for Whirlpool range model RF367LXSB0 can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
