Q:

KSCS25INSS00 beeping and not cooling KSCS25INSS00 Kitchenaid Counter depth sxs refrigerator

A:

I sorry to hear about the problems that you're having with your refrigerator. I'll try to help you.

The refrigerator main control board has some diagnostics that may help you determine the cause of your problem. Here's an image that show the main control board diagnostics: KitchenAid Refrigerator Main Control Board Diagnostics.

I recommend that you allow the test program to check the thermistors (temperature sensors). Make sure that the fans run and try to start the compressor. If the compressor doesn't start, you can carefully check the LED on the inverter control board. Here's an image that shows the codes that the LED may blink on the inverter control board: KitchenAid Inverter Board Diagnostics.

Check the part numbers for the control boards that you installed in the refrigerator. The main control board should be part 2307028. The original inverter control board (box) substitutes to new part number W10133449. Unless the inverter box was previously replaced, that part W10133449 may have needed some wiring revisions to properly install it so that it works with the control board part 2307028. If you have any questions about the parts, let us know.

I hope that this information helps. If you need further assistance, let us know.

Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.

Dear Lyle, I am having the same issue. However I am having a hard time running the Main Control Board diagnostics. When I press the C and on/off button, both FC and RC say "1". Your instructions says it should say "O1" on the FC to start. Also, I have a hard time finding the invertor board blinking light. Do I have to remove any covering in order to see the light? Thanks for your help>
