Q:

F-2 / E-3 Whirlpool Oven Overheating RBS305PDB12 Whirlpool Oven

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your oven. Upon researching model RBS305PDB12; the “F2/F3” error code indicates a shorted temperature sensor, shorted keypad, control board failure. It sounds like you may need to replace the control board, since the failure of a temperature sensor or a key pad would not normally cause the symptoms that you have described. The control board governs the functions of the oven so when it fails it can become unresponsive and randomly turn functions on or off. I have posted a link o the control board to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.
