Question and Answers

Q:

Why did my oven go into a self cleaning mode on its own?

A:

Without a model number provided we do not have access to any of the reference material for your stove. It sounds like the clock has a stuck relay. Please resubmit with a model number for further assistance.

I have a similar problem (Whirlpool Accubake Oven Model #RBS305PDB10) My oven will go into cleaning mode when we try to bake with it. The only way to shut it off is at the breaker, and it has to stay off for several hours before the oven will unlock, but then if we try to use it again it keeps happening. The guy at Sears Parts Direct said that it is probably the micro computer. I just want to make sure that this is the problem and it can't be anything else. I would rather buy all possible parts and then return the parts not needed then ordering then one at a time. Thanks.
