Q:

drain RAX7244JQ0 Roper Washer

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when the washer isn't draining.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Roper model number rax7244jq0.

When not draining the first thing to do is check the hoses which you have done.   Water should be flowing freely.  When you check the hoses besure to also check the drain pipe also to make sure it isn't clogged.

If all is well then you should take out your pump.  Some people can clean theres and reuse them but most have to buy a new pump for all they go through.

I can understand how important it is to have your washer working properly. Normally this type of problem is caused by the agitator dogs. However, if the cam is stripped, then the dogs won't catch for the agitation. I would suggest that you check this part for wear. Make sure that the dogs fit tightly in the agitator. If this does not work, then look at the spacer in between the two sections. This can lock up, which will cause the agitator to stop moving. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
