I bought the washer used and do not have an owner's manual - thus the lack of information.

Look on the control panel and match it to one of the following for your specific size:

  • Extra large -- 2.5 cu. ft.

  • Super Capacity -- 3.0 cu. ft.
  • Super Capacity Plus -- 3.2 cu. ft.

You can look up and download the User's manual if needed at Manage My Life but it will not confirm the capacity like Celene suggested.

Joey S, THANK YOU!!! I've actually found a manual online but, as you said, the capacity is nowhere listed in the manual. I've been trying to figure out the capacity so I can compare my washer to other capacities to know how much of a capacity increase I want in a new washer. THANKS AGAIN!! Would you happen to know what the rpm of the spin cycle might be? I know the older washers are between 600 and 800 rpm.

So will a new washer that spins at 800rpm show a marked difference than my current older washer? Should I go for the 1050rpm spin speed for a noticeable difference?

A:

A new washer spinning at 800 rpm will not likely make that much noticeable difference but 1050 rpm would definitely make a huge difference.
