how to repair rototiller

Remove the screw in the center of the clutch drum. Now remove the spark plug and put some rope (like pull cord rope) down into the hole. This will prevent the engine from spinning when you remove the clutch. On the clutch, you should see an arrow pointing which direction to turn to remove the clutch.

To access all of this, you'll have to remove the housing. It's best to just take the engine off of the machine completely so you can move it around as needed. Once the machine is free from the drive shaft, you'll be able to remove the screws holding the shroud on the engine and then the clutch drum will be right there.
