Question and Answers

Q:

my water fill spout. PSS26MGPABB Ge Refrigerator p series

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

It could be an issue with the water pressure making it comes out. I would try and turn the valve down that supply’s the water to the icemaker and see if that would help the situation. Some of those also turn to lock in; maybe see if you may have over looked that.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

A:

The board in the dispenser should get 12 volts dc. It sounds like you might have a bad connection somewhere.

I would start by disconnecting power to the refrigerator and removing the top hinge cover on the freezer door. Inspect the connector there for loose or discolored pins.

Check the connectors on the motherboard in the back of the refrigerator and the display board in the dispenser.

I hope this helps.
