I checked both web site and neither were helpful. The unit isn't frosting up in fact the temp in the freezer at this point is above 72 degrees. This model of refrigerator is a built in which has the evaporators up in the top. Could you tell me the functions of the Thermostat and the thermistor. with this info I can cross reference my trouble shooting and narrow down the part. Is there a way to jump either sensor to trouble shoot. As for the technician, I am the man though I don't have a repair manual for this unit. If you know where I can read one I would love to get the info.

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are having this problem. This refrigerator has dual evaporators. One for the freezer and one for the fridge section. It has a 3 way valve to regulate the refrigerant flow to one or both coils. Now, if the fridge side is working but not the freezer it could be a problem with the sensor, the three way valve or a low charge. I'm attaching the information to put this into the service diagnostics. Use the test for the sensors, particularly the freezer sensor. The display will show 0 in the freezer display and 7 in the fresh food display. If the freezer sensor is not working, it could be causing this problem. However, if it does show to be ok, the problem will be with either the 3 way valve or the refrigerant charge. This would require a certified technician to make these checks. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.
