Q:

GAS LINE ROUTING PPB250E GAS TRIMMER PPB250E

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the trimmer. I will be happy to assist you. The small fuel line that has the fuel filter attached to it connects directly to the carburetor. The larger line runs fron the carburetor to the primer. Then from the primer to the fuel tank. I found a video that shows how the lines should be connected. Click here to watch the video.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your question on how to remove the clutch on the trimmer engine.

I am sorry you are having a problem removing the clutch. The clutch drum is held on with a #25 torx screw. I suspect the problem is you cannot keep the engine from turning. If this is the case, you will need to remove the spark plug. Then fill the cylinder with soft rope. Make sure to leave enough sticking out so it can be removed later. Now when you turn the screw the piston will stop and you can loosen the screw. I have found a video that shows how to remove the clutch drum. Click here to watch the video.

This is a link from a previous answer from Mark T that should help you. clutch removal video .

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .
