Q:

Error F30 PLES389ECC Frigidaire Electric range

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your range and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number PLES389ECC and a “F30” fault code may appear on the Electronic Oven Control's display upon using either the top surface element or the oven.

“F30” error code is displayed. Verify the oven sensor circuitry. Verify the safety thermostat located on the front portion of the unit (behind the right side surface switches). If it’s open, replace the original safety thermostat (p/n 318005211) with new one (p/n 318005213). Original one will automatically be subbed with the new one. Click here for more instructions.

NOTE: Before working on the unit, disconnect the power to the unit.
