I traced the wiring diagram and believe the problem is either the timing circuit board or a faulty high temperature safety thermostat. I dont know if the safety thermostat shuts the power of to the whole system or just the heating elements? The control panel came alive two days ago by itself and is still alive at this writing.

Thank you for submitting your question. I sounds like the control board itself is shorted or there may be some loose connects. I recommend checking the connects at the panel. If their secure, then replace the board (316418720) may need to be replaced. I recommend having a technician to come out and make some voltage test to make sure it's not a wiring issue. Also to replace the board for you if that's the issue. Replacing the board will require moving the wall oven out. You can schedule for service online with our Sears Home Services team. I hope this helps. Please reply back to this thread if you require further assistance. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

I am very sorry that this installation has been so confusing for you. Normally a built in wall oven is hard wired in to the household electrical, so it is rare that someone would need a plug. The instructions for hard wiring the oven are in the installation guide. I would recommend that you follow these instructions and install it according to the manufacture.

If you still want to install the plug, the colored wires for the oven are copper, so they should work. Just connect the plug wires to the proper colors. Black to black, red to red, white to white, then the ground. If the plug wires are not color coded, lay the plug flat on the floor with the prongs facing down, then lift the end that connect to the oven (like you are going to attach it); the black will be on the left, the white in the middle and the red on the right.

If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
