Q:

What is part 50 supposed to support? PLD4555RFC0 Frigidaire Dishwasher

A:

Now that I see inside, part 50 is seemingly unrelated to the wiper seal (bottom of door seal). I'll wait for the new seal and post the results... Thanks

I did look into the model number you have provided and I have found that part 50 says it supports the door hinge and comes with foam. That is the only information we do have on that part.

That worked! Thanks, but now the door leaks. The website i cannot find the video to replace bottom gasket door seal with the integrated/hidden control door. I am trying to reseat the old gasket until the new one arrives to test for other leaks. The other door type instructions say the you can check for proper seating of seal in the door, under the panel... The old one will not seat itself in place. I wonder if the door is damaged? Let me know if I am supposed to post this elsewhere... Any help is appreciated

Q:

Door Leak PLD4555RFC0 Frigidaire Dishwasher

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is problems with the dishwasher.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Frigidaire Dishwsher model number PLD4555RFC0.

1. To be safe please turn off the power at the fuse box for the dishwasher.

2.  Pull the main door down.   Unscrew the bottom screws of the door to release the outer door panel.

3.  Remove the outer door panel and set it safe aside.

4.  Pull the door down again and remove the lower dishrack.   With the door down you should be able to pull up the bottom door gasket.

5.  Insert the new gasket by inserting it into the channel evenly with the lip of the gasket downward.

6.  Close the door to make sure the gasket is in place evenly and properly.

7.   Replace the door panel and then lower the door to re-secure the screws.  Replace the dish rack and the dishwasher shall be ready to go after you turn the power supply back on.
