A:

i can understand your need for some type of instructions on how to properly replace the pins on your stove control panel. While you are waiting for your expert answer, I did some research on the unit. At this time, I was unable to locate information that would be helpful in regards to your question. Some of these questions that are asked will need specific research and will be answered by an expert with-in two business days but usually sooner.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The push buttons will normally need to pulled out and re-installed in the new control.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Sorry, not much help. The push buttons do not just "pull out". You have to pull very very hard to get one out and I've broken one trying to get it out. Also the spring of the pin pulled out, is still inside the old control. Are you sure they pull out??

Ron: I do not have any parts here but if the new control looks the same minus the push buttons, they should pull out but if the button broke, then maybe the buttons should have came already installed in the new control. I added a URL address below that you can copy and paste in your browser and it will have a picture of the what the control should look like on the front side. It looks like it should have came with the buttons installed. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/318010102/0022/628?pathTaken=directMatch&filterPart=&pop=flush&prst=0&shdPart=318010102
