I can understand wanting to get the full lower rack with the silverware rack.  These are offered and often purchased separately, but if both are needed, just refer to the parts numbers for each unit. The silverware basket is part #WD28X10128 and can be ordered at Sears Parts Direct .

You can view the parts diagrams and order the additional rack parts if needed.  If further assistance is needed, please reply.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Your symptoms point to a wire harness connection problem inside that door assembly. I recommend that you shut off the house circuit breaker for the dishwasher and access the wiring connections inside that door. The image below shows the wiring connections and how to access that area. Check the wiring connection on the J1 plug of that control board that comes from the junction box at the bottom of your dishwasher. That is the most likely cause of your failure. If you cannot find and fix the wiring problem yourself, I recommend that you leave the breaker shut off and have a service technician examine and repair the dishwasher. You could have a short to the metal cabinet of the dishwasher due to a wiring failure. It would be dangerous to have power supplied to the dishwasher in that situation. Here is a link for the Sears Service website: Sears Home Services .

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

Thank You Lyle! You almost hit the problem right on the head. Great answer for the limited amount of info you had. When the dishwasher was installed, the main power line (from the wall) was pushed into the door lift spring. Every time the door was opened or closed, the wires were bent back and forth until they broke. When the door was at a given postion, contact was made, move the door contact was broken. Thanks again for your help.
