Question and Answers

Q:

How old is my dishwasher? Dishwasher Control Panel seems dead? PDW7880J10SS Ge Dishwasher

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when looking for information on the dishwasher.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your GE Dishwasher model number  PDW7880J10SS.

The age of this dishwasher is 10 years old.  A 2004 model.

There are usually 2 reasons for non display.   The door lock/latch and makes it so the door doesn't signal it is closed all the way or the control panel.

The lock switch is  $11.92 and the control board is $80.24 as of today.
