Q:

Not Cooling

A:

The refrigerator not cooling can be very frustrating. I did some research on your model number but was not able to find what the problem would be. Your expert will be able to help answer your question. It may take two business days for your expert to reply. If you would like to look into Sears doing the repair here is a link for Sears Home Services. I do hope that everything works out on the refrigerator.

Thanks for adding that serial number. The serial number indicates that your GE Refrigerator Model . PDS22SCRBRSS was manufactured in May of 2004. The 5 year warranty on the sealed system and compressor has expired on that refrigerator. You can call GE with that model number and serial number to check for an extended warranty that the previous owners may have on the refrigerator (1-800-432-2737).

I posted some information about the possible failures that could cause this cooling problem in the previous thread that you started ( Not Cooling PDS22SCRBRSS Ge Bottom mount refrigerator ).

If you need more help, let us know.

I am sorry to hear about the problems that you are having with your GE Refrigerator Model PDS22SCRSS.

If the compressor is running then you apparently have a sealed system failure or a bad compressor. A service technician will need to diagnose and repair that type of problem. The compressor and sealed system have a 5 year warranty but it appears that your refrigerator may be older than 5 years based on your model number. If the refrigerator is less than 5 years old, I recommend that you contact GE for service as described in your owner's manual.

If the compressor is not running, then you could have a failed control board, a wiring failure or a bad compressor,

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, let us know.
