Before you return the control board you need to check the damper control. The damper control regulates the amount of cold air that comes into the refrigerator section.

Look on the parts diagram or go to www.searspartsdirect.com and you can see a parts diagram and list for the refrigerator. On page 2 item 603 is the damper assembly. The control board sends voltage to the damper assembly to cause it to open or close. If the damper fails and doesn't open the temperature in the refrigerator gets warm.

Another possibility is the evaporator coil in the freezer gets coated with frost and doesn't let the cold air circulate into the refrigerator. You can look at the evaporator coil in the rear of the freezer section and see if it is covered with frost and ice. You can turn the refrigerator off and defrost the evaporator coil with a hair dryer. If this causes the refrigerator to get cold, the defrost heater or defrost thermostat might be bad.

It is possible the new control board can be bad, but more than likely you have a problem in the damper or the defrost system.
