Question and Answers

Q:

I own a refrigerator brand name is GE Profile and model PCF23NGTDCC SN-TL424189

A:

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model PCF23NGTDCC; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. Based on the description you have provided it is difficult to determine the cause of the problem without and onsite inspection. There are a couple things that you can check yourself. Often these symptoms are a sign that the compressor is overheating. This can be a result of a clogged condenser coil. If lint and dust accumulates too heavy on and around the condenser coil air flow is restricted and the compressor will overheat and shut down stopping cooling.  The other thing you can check is the operation of the condenser fan the moves the air over and around the condenser and compressor.  If the compressor is running the condenser fan should be running. If neither of these are the problem then the most common cause is the main control board for the refrigerator. I hope this helps you, if you need more help reply with added details and I will be happy to respond. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.Ron H.
