treadmill won't incline NTTL09992 Nordictrack Nordic track exp 1000

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your treadmill and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number nttl09992 and to diagnose the treadmill you will need to perform live voltage checks. Working with live electrical current can be very hazardous and possibly deadly. Testing voltage output requires working with electrical current. Do not attempt this measurement without the proper tools and safeguards. If you are looking to repair the treadmill yourself, I recommend calibrating the console first. I have seen where the console will loose its memory and recalibrating the console will cure the problem. If that does not help, unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood. Then check the electrical connections on the incline motor and the motor control. Then check the operation of the incline. If you still have, a problem the problem could be a failed motor pn 181774, sensor. Please reply below with more details of what you found doing these checks.  I hope this information helps with your troubleshooting. I checked with NordicTrack. They indicate that the substitute part is essentially the same as the original part. It will be at least a durable as the original part. I added a picture of the part in the image below.
