A:

The problem with the washer is concerning. I did some research on your model number but was not able to find a solution. Your expert will be able to help answer your question. It may take two business days for your expert to reply. I do hope that everything works out.

Update: I had the back plate off and the front bottom plate off. Both sides have a push in button sensor that I guess checks to see if the plates are on. I manually compressed these in with a piece of wood on both sides so I can leave the plates off to figure out what is going on. Now the washer will fill automatically and start washing. After about 15 minutes the same thing happens. The wash light starts flashing and then the fast 3 beeps. Any ideas?

Another update: I am getting the error code F7E1 which states this: If the control is unable to properly detect motor speed, the washer shuts down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door unlocks after 3 minutes. Possible Causes/Procedure - Verify that the shipping system, including shipping bolts and spacers, are removed, and that the power cord is out of the washer. - Unplug washer or disconnect power. - Make sure that all wire harness connections between the Motor & MCU, and MCU to CCU are not broken or with wires detached, and that connector internal pins are visible. - Check continuity from the main motor to the motor control (MCU) and MCU to the CCU (MS2, MI3 cavities). - If the continuity diagnosis failed, Main Harness must be replaced. - Check the resistance of main Motor. See page 7. - Check the resistance of the Tachometer. See page 7. - Make sure that the motor connector is assembled correctly. - Plug in washer or reconnect power. - Verify the washer operation by running the Diagnostic Test cycle. See page 5. - After the diagnostic test has finished What should I do?

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Since your model washer does not have a digital display, the control will flash the Wash LED.

The "Wash" LED will flash and error code number is represented by the number of times the LED flashes. The first set of flashes represents the "F" and the second set of flashes represents the "E". There is a pause of 2 seconds between the flashes for "F" and "E".  The error code sequence will repeat after a pause of 5 seconds.

I added two images below with the procedure of accessing the fault code and how to decipher the codes.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Take off front plate at bottom front of washer (3 screws at bottom). Get something to drain water into that's not very tall. Inside there is a white cap that you can twist off by hand. Set bucket in front of this and unscrew it. Let it drain and take a look at the cap that you pulled out. When I did this, I had some socks stuck in here and other things that eventually blocked it from draining water. Try it. If not, still worth a shot. Worked for me.
