My nautilus 2000 machine keeps shutting off

Thank You for choosing Sears and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your stepper and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number NE2000 and from your description I suspect an issue with the console or the motor. I recommend testing the motor and verify that it is working properly. When the motor is failing it will shut off when it gets hot and will not restart until it has cooled off. If the motor is not the problem then you will want to determine if the console is defective. Here is a link that may help with additional troubleshooting. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears

Nautilus NE2000 elliptical resistance

Thank you for contacting with your questions about your Nautilus NE2000 elliptical. I am so sorry the resistance on it is no longer adjustable. I will be happy to help you with your questions about the availability of repair parts.

We are not able to get you a replacement servo motor. We only use the manufacturer's original parts or their guaranteed replacements. Therefore, once Nautilus stops making a part and our inventory is depleted, we no longer have a source to obtain the motor. I also check the availability of other key components on this stepper to see if the issue may be something other than the servo motor. The saearch showed that the parts I checked are also no longer available.

A technician would need to see the motor to determine whether or not it is the problem and to determine if it can be repaired. To find out the cost of a technician visit, and to find out if the service fee is waived if the product cannot be fixed, you will need to talk with a Service advisor.  I have included the link below to take you to our service website.
