Hello Robert,

 

I would like to assist you with your parts install.  I assume that you are referring to the cap and o-ring within the agitator auger.  I have attached an image to refer to, the o-ring is fitted to the groove on the cap and then inserted into the auger.  I like to use a very light application of liquid detergent, or if you use powder, a thin skiff of dish detergent will work too.  This will allow you to work the o-ring and cap into the auger without the o-ring dislodging from the cap.
