Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with the refrigerator's water dispenser and ice maker. We are here to help. Based on what you, said I recommend replacing the water filter or install the bypass plug. Next, make sure the dispenser is not locked, and attempt to get a glass of water. While holding the button down listen for a buzz noise. You may have to hold it down for 2 minutes to get water. If water starts coming out the dispenser, jump the ice maker between T&H. That is at the 5 o clock position. That will cycle the ice maker. Water should enter the ice maker, when the ejectors are in the 12 0 clock position. You can refer to the image below to continue troubleshooting the ice maker. The relay you mention will effect the ice maker only. If you hear the buzz noise but no water, check the voltage to the valve. If the voltage is present, most likely the water tank is frozen. To thaw the water tank just remove the crisper's in the refrigerator. Next, heat the water tank with a heat gun. No noise when attempting to get a glass of water indicates, the dispenser circuit board needs to be checked with a multimeter. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your response regarding my initial question. This is in response to your answer listed above. First you recommended replacing the water filter with the bypass plug. That has been done. Second you said make sure the dispenser is not locked and it is not locked. You then suggested holding the button down and listen for the buzz noise. Still NO water and NO buzz noise. The I/M has been jumped between T&H. The I/M cycled but still no water. I still hear no buzz noise, also the water tank is NOT frozen. The last thing you suggested was to check the dispenser circuit board with a multi meter. Can you provide me any information that explains which wires to test. This still does not explain why I am NOT getting any water to the I/M. Can you respond with more information. Please advise. Thanks!!!

RHawkins, Now we know this is strictly an electrical problem. I provide the schematic and test for the circuit board. I also, recommend testing the ice cube solenoid with the multimeter. That may cut the voltage to the solenoid in the back. The schematic will help you jump the relay if needed, to trace the electric problem on the ice maker.
