Question and Answers

Q:

I want cleaner clothes and faster wash cycles

A:

Hi,

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.  I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

I am sorry you are disappointed in your washer.  The wash cycles are predetermined for the cycles and there is nothing to be done to speed up the cycles.  The control board is programmed to operate at this certain time and we, you and I cannot change the program.   The best thing is the clothes dry faster when the whites are cleaned using this cycle.  Most of the front loaders of this one's era use the same time to clean the white clothes.  The time is also impacted by the water temperature and the pressure of the water entering the washer.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

I know it can be frustrating to have a locked washer with clothes still stuck inside. I'm happy to help you today. I see Yadira provided you with some good information.

The door can be manually unlocked.

  1. Disconnect the power cord from the power source.
  2. Remove the lower access panel.
  3. Reach up along the inside of the front and locate the bottom of the door switch/lock mechanism.
  4. Located on the bottom of the door switch/lock mechanism is a tear shaped tab.
  5. Gently pull the tab down about 1/4 inch or until a click is heard.
  6. The door can now be opened.

Your type of washer should flash an error code indicating what the issue is. After opening the door and removing the clothes. Plug the washer back in and see if it has returned to normal operation. If there is an error code flashing, please get back to us so we may look into this for you.

If you do not feel comfortable repairing the issue yourself, service can be scheduled at the following link: Sears Home Services .

I really hope this information helps you today. Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Q:

i need a manual

A:

Having the Manual is very accentual to have, to know specific information upon your appliance. I was able to find the Owner's Manual for you on this website. If you look up to the top of this screen you would see a tab stating manuals. Once you hit the button you would have a space of where you can place your model number. Then the manual should show up like how it did for me. Look down bellow and you would be able to view your manual.
