Question and Answers

Q:

Maytag Refrigerator has water seaping from bottom, once or twice a day.

A:

It sounds like the puddle that's being created is of a small nature and I'm glad that you have been able to easily manage it. I have a sneaky suspicion on what it might be and I found a link (that I've provided below) that will explain it. Review this link while you wait for an expert technician to respond to you. I hope this helps and have a nice day.

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your refrigerator leaking water. We are here to help. The problem is the drain overflowing, cracked drain pan or the unit is not level. You will needs to pull the drawer out of the freezer to get to the rear panel covering the coils. You may be able to remover the basket and front panel, leaving the side rail mounted. If the ice is built up and frozen to the panel, you will need to allow for the ice to defrost and melt away, before removing the panel. And if the evaporator is that iced up, you have a defrost problem. The images below will help you check this out. I hope this helps.
