Hi,

Thank you for asking this question and allow me to answer it this way.

The issue could be the timer or the push to start relay. Sometimes it is the thermal fuse that has opened up and other times it is the door switch.
If you press and hold in on the start button, what will it do? If the will run like that the push to start relay needs to be replaced. If not the voltage to the other components needs checking.
The console will need to be opened to expose the timer circuits. Live voltage checks are dangerous, and possibly deadly. Exercise caution at all times. If you are not comfortable working with live electricity I suggest you call an Sears Home Services technician.

I hope this answer is useful and that it helps you correct the problem with your appliance.
Thank you for using ManageMyLife.
