How to clean vertical dryer vent

Cleaning the lint not only for the Maytag dryer, but clean through the roof is a good idea to keep the dryer working properly and efficiently.  I hope the link I am providing is helpful.  Click here to view link:  Lint cleaning.  If you decide on professional duct cleaning, click here:  Duct cleaning services.

Thanks for contacting I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with cleaning the dryer vent. We are here to help. Anna provided a good link on this problem. I recommend that you use it. Just click here to view that link. The vertical vent can also be cleaned using a plumbing snake. However, that requires going up the ladder with the plumbing snake. Next, remove the vent cap and drop the plumbing snake down the hole, until it hits the bottom inside the house. Now, turn the snake around in a circle, to loosen all the lint inside the vent.  All the lint should fall down to the bottom of the vent inside the house. Once you are finished, remove the snake and vacuum the lint inside the vent, with a wet/dry shop vac. After the vent is clear, go back on the roof and install the vent cap. Also, be very careful going up and down the ladder.  I hope this helps.
