WHERE IS THE THERMAL FUSE LOCATED IN A MAYTAG DRYER, MODEL # MDE3000AYW?

Your dryer has two thermal fuses. One thermal fuse is located on the heating element housing located underneath the drum and the other thermal fuse is located on cover of the blower assembly. I added images below with instructions. _NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing your dryer._You can view and order parts from Sears Parts Direct . I have included a set of illustrated instructions (See below). These should step you through the process of accessing the heating element. I have also included a wiring diagram just in case you need it. Make sure the dryer is unplugged before attempting any repair.
