If there are no display lights at all the first thing to check is the ribbon connector. If a meter is available the membrane switches can be checked for resistance. The readings are in the image below. If all the lights went out at once and you can't program any cycles or options then I suspect the main control is the problem.

Q:

Why is my Maytag dishwasher not working?

A:

The door latch assembly has 2 switches that have to show 120volts on both sides when the door latch closes. You will need a volt meter to check the voltage so we will know if the switches are good or not & to confirm that you do have the correct supply voltage available. Also, if you have the correct voltage coming into the control board we will need to confirm that with a meter. If you have a meter I have provided you with the wiring diagram in the image below. We need to know the voltage at the control board L1 to neutral for a starting point.

Please get back with us if you need help reading the wiring diagram.

Remember to always use extreme caution when working with live voltage.

I did this as well. Our Maytag dishwasher kept acting finicky for about a month sometimes starting, sometimes nothing on the control panel. I replaced both switches and it worked perfectly for 3 days, now nothing...

Mr. Biker Dave, thanks for your assistance. I have checked the two door switched and each gave me 122v and 120 volts respectively. As per the comments I further read ,this okays the door switches. the next is the mother board, I went to Sears Parts to purchase one but they needed a series number, I told them is quiet series 100 this did not help, I took the cover off to check of any part number but none. the diagram to troubleshoot the junctions (J's) are not readable and cannot find how I can check them. please help and thanks
