Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Since your dishwasher does not have a separate drain pump and motor; the wash motor and pump must reverse direction in order to pump the water out. You did not state if the pump motor is running when it should be draining water. If the wash pump is running and not draining then it could have a blockage in the drain hose or a blockage where the drain hose connects to the disposal or plumbing under the sink. If the wash pump is not running then it could have a faulty electronic control board or open drain winding in the motor.

The motor must be supplied with the proper voltage in order to operate in the drain direction. The start voltage in the drain direction is checked across the Blue wire and red and between the blue wire and yellow. The motor needs the start voltage (blue to red) to start and then it needs run voltage (blue to yellow) in order to keep running. NOTE: I do not recommend checking voltage unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so; otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dishwasher.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

A:

Thanks Joseph P. It makes sense my problem would be the control panel. Maybe the new one was also faulty. Just a thought!

If the dishwasher will not do anything then I suspect there is a problem with either the door switches or the control board.

If you have access to a volt/ohm meter the wiring diagram in the image below may be helpful to you.

I don't suggest checking live voltage but you can check continuity of the door switches.

Live voltage checks I suggest be done by technician.

I hope this helps but reply with any additional detail for further assistance.
