Question and Answers

Q:

Is this lower rack W10139223 compatible with MayTag MDB9100AWW dishwasher? MDB9100AWW Maytag Dishwasher

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
The part number you've provided of W10139223 is the correct lower rack for this Maytag model presently. Maytag substituted W10139223 from the original part number of 99002387 since it's no longer being manufactured. I wouldn't foresee any issues with purchasing and installing the rack.
For convenience, I have included a blue link below that you may click on to be directed to the PartsDirect page to view and purchase the lower rack for this model.

Maytag dishwasher is leaving grimy dishes

A:

There is nothing worse than grimy dishes coming out of the dishwasher. The expert will review your model number for the best specific answer, but I did locate two videos and a similar question that may help with some tips while you wait. The links are attached below. I hope these help clear things up.

A:

I know that it is very important to have your dishwasher working properly. The first link that Barbara H provided will be the most helpful. Normally this type of problem is due to a dirty filter. Once it is clean you can use a dishwasher cleaner like Dishwasher Magic to finish removing the grease and debris from the unit. This is available at your local Sears store. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

Why did my Maytag dishwasher just shut off and will not restart?

A:

The electrical schematic below shows that the door switches must be closed for the circuit board to get power. If you are able to disconnect electrical power and access the wiring to these switches, you can verify that they ware closing properly by checking the resistance through the wiring. If one or both switches are not closing properly, this could be causing your problem.

If you are certain that the circuit board is getting power and has neutral conductivity, then the circuit board could be bad and may need to be replaced.
