Q:

Maytag Dishwasher won't start MDB7609AWB2 Maytag Dishwasher

Q:

maytag model#MDB7609AWB2 - THE start button wont click on.

A:

The fuse must be okay but bypassing the door switch can be tricky.  The control looks for the door switch to open and close.  If it does not see this then it assumes the door switch is bad.   The image below contains more information on the door switch.  If the dishwasher will not start and the LED light for the start keypad is blinking then the control thinks the door is not shut.  The 2nd image contains the instructions to enter a diagnostic test.  To enter the test you will not use the Start Keypad.  Give the test a try and reply below with any additional details.
