Question and Answers

Q:

How to remove upper spray arm?

A:

I understand that you want to replace the top spray arm from your dishwasher. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below for you to view. I hope the link that I provided is helpful.

There is not a special tool for the snap on this spray arm. I provided some parts images for the upper spray arm and the feed tube. The snap (Key 31) will need to be pulled out to remove the spray arm (Key 33) and the outlet (Key 32). You may be able to remove the snap with channel lock pliers. Once you remove the snap (Key 31), you should be able to remove the spray arm (Key 33). It does not appear that the outlet (Key 32) is threaded. If you are able to avoid removing that part, the spray arm will probably be easier to install. Be aware that once you remove that outlet snap (Key 32), you will probably need to pull the dishwasher out from under the counter to install it back into the assembly. The upper feed tube on the outside of the tub will likely have upward play.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.
