My maytag washer model# MAVT236AWW is not draining completely.

I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue with your washer. I know it can become frustrating but I am happy to assist you. I suspect the problem is the belt is slipping. The motor pivots to maintain the proper tension on the belt. When the tub is full of water the belt should slip a little till most of the water drains out. There is a spring, shown in the image below, that maintains tension on the belt. The motor should also pivot back and forth. A slow spin is likely caused by the spring or the motor is not pivoting to provide proper tension. Even though the belt was replaced, there could be an issue with this spring. Because of this I highly recommend making an inspection to this area.

Once this is done, please reply back with further details and I will be happy to assist you further.

If you do not feel comfortable making this type of repair, I highly recommend scheduling for service. Here is the link for Sears Home Services.
