Thanks for posting your question on ManageMyLife.com

This sounds like your water valve may need to be replaced. You could test for a valve failure by turning your timer knob over to the rinse portion of a cycle. With the temperature selector set to Cold/Cold, pull the knob out to begin a rinse fill. This portion of the cycle will use a different contact to energize the cold water solenoid valve. If the washer fills properly in the rinse cycle, it will eliminate a bad cold water valve as your failure. In this case, you may have a bad temperature selector switch, failed timer or wiring problem. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair this type of failure.

If the washer will not fill in the rinse cycle, you may have a bad water supply, failed valve or a wiring problem. In this situation, I recommend first verifying that the cold water supply is properly reaching the washer by using these steps:

Make sure that it is properly hooked up to the cold water inlet supply of the washer.
Turn your cold water supply valve off.
Disconnect the cold fill hose where it connects to the back of the washer.
Check for a clog or debris on the inlet water screen on the back of the washer.
If you are using flood safe water supply hoses, I recommend hooking the washer up directly with normal supply hoses.
Place the supply hose in an empty bucket and turn on the water valve to check for proper water flow.

You may have already conducted some of these basic checks. They are essential to properly troubleshooting this problem. Overlooking a simple fix can waste unnecessary time.

Thanks for your reply Desirea. The washer works fine in the Hot/Cold setting. Hot water fills the tub for washing and cold water fills the tub for rinsing. None of the other temperature settings trigger any water flow. All settings on the temperature switch test good with a multimeter. The temp control circuit board is between the temperature switch and the water valve. That's why I'm suspicious that the control board is the problem. Is there any way to test the circuit board?

Thanks for your reply.

I would agree with you, if the multimeter show that all the settings are testing good then. The Analog temperatur control board (ATC board) needs to be replaced. I have included a link below to the PartsDirect webpage where you can purchase this part. Just click the blue link below.
