and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number 790.9611340C and from what you are describing seems like the clock and timer controller is bad,. The top will still work and can be used, If you the range is still connected to the power the display should work. If the display does not work and neither of the heating elements work, the clock and timer will need to be replaced. Hope this information helps.

I recommend that you unplug the range and check the wiring connections on the control board and the fan motor. If the wiring is okay, you will probably need to check the voltage going to the fan motor. Follow electrical safety guidelines when checking that live voltage. Wear electrical safety gloves and safety goggles. Unplug the range as soon as live testing is completed.

 

You indicated that you are comfortable with using a meter and reading the wiring diagram. I you get to the point where you need more help, let us know.
