Thanks for the inquiry about your washer load capacity. US manufactures no longer provide Lbs. capacity on laundry products. They have all changed to cubic ft. capacity. However there is a formula to determine approximate Lbs. per cubic ft.  The formula is: 1 cubic ft. =12 lbs.   Based on that, your model should be able to handle approximately 36 lbs. at highest load level settings.I have also added an image below that is a guide for loading the washer. I hope this helps, should you need additional help please reply with more details and I will be happy to respond.  Ron H.

Q:

Besides the clutch, tub bearing and clothes between the tubs what is the cause of a slow spin in all cycles on my Whirlpool model LXR7244JQ2 direct drive washer?

A:

From the description you give I suspect the basket drive is the problem. A weak basket drive is indicated when the washer might spin empty or with a light load but will not spin with a normal load.

You can check the clutch for a broken spring but access is difficult since the transmission must be removed to get good a good look.

For this particular problem I usually suggest the 285785 clutch and 285792 basket drive be replaced at the same time since you have to remove the transmission to service either.

The images below may help you with this project.

Remember to unplug the washer first.

I hope this information is helpful to you but submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.
