Q:

some buttons on panel do not work LVM1750DM1WW Ge Microwave

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com I am sorry, but we do not give repair information on microwave ovens because they are inherently dangerous to service. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. Door repairs and adjustments, even minor ones, can cause microwave leakage, and a microwave shielding leakage test must be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service. That's why I strongly warn you to have this repair handled only by a qualified service technician. You can schedule service online with Sears Home Services or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME. Normally at SearsPartsDirect.com, we like to help you with all of your repairs, but our expert advice is that microwaves are just too dangerous.

Thank you for your question.

I see that you been given a few links to look over. Check your settings to make sure that the microwave is set to heat on the high setting. If the microwave is running with no heat that would indicate an internal failure has occurred. We do not give out much repair information on microwaves because of the dangers of repairing them. The microwave generates extremely high voltage. The capacitor can store this voltage even when the unit is unplugged. I hope you understand our policy on microwaves. Our number one concern is your safety. It is strongly recommended to have the microwave repaired by a service technician. You can have the microwave repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Depending on the age and the condition of the microwave, you may consider purchasing a new one. The price of microwaves has gone down a lot in the last few years. Please click on this link to view all of the microwaves we offer.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
