Replacing the power supply might fix your TV. The main thing would be if the TV has the light on the front when it is off and if it changed when you press the power button. If the light changes when the button is pressed and then changes back then the power supply might not be the problem, most likely would be the LCD screen itself.

Thanks guys. Dusty, the light is on but does not change when pressing power button. It seems like the power button is not working. A little history on the problem: prior to the power button not functioning, had to work to get it to turn on, once on none of the other buttons would work. Have done a bit more research on the matter, maybe mother/main board. Was wondering your thoughts, thanks. Stephen

With the TV having the issue of not turning on unless the power button was pressed a few time would lead to believe that the backlight assembly was is the problem. When the backlights start to go out the TV is hard to turn on and over time it will not turn on any more. The backlight assembly is part of the LCD panel and a whole part, but Westinghouse does not supply replace LCD panel assemblies. Replacement of the TV would be recommended on this type of case.
